Low T in Women

You may not feel like much of a sexy, spunky Pink Lady these days. You’re tired. You’ve got hot flashes, mood swings, your bones hurt, and sex. Sex is so far at the bottom of your priority list that it’s right smack at the top of your partner’s.pink_ladies

Let’s take a moment to compare:

Pink Ladies

  • Always up for a night out
  • Perfect hair, even for girl’s night
  • Killer figure, all that singing and dancing must keep them in shape
  • Powerfully sexy
Low T Ladies

  • Netflix binging starts at 6:30pm
  • Hair? I think I left some in the tub. And on the bathroom floor.
  • A cylinder is a shape, right?
  • Hah – let’s get real

Could it be low t?

Just like men, as we age our hormone production can start to decline. Most women think this is just part of getting older, but it shouldn’t be. While it is natural for women to lose the majority of their estrogen production, low t in women is just as abnormal as it is for men.  If you’re experiencing low sex drive, tiredness, even mild depression (or any of these other symptoms), you may have low testosterone.

“so when my estrogen dropped, so, too, went the hormone of desire—the desire to have sex, yes, but also to learn, to reach. Testosterone helps build strength in your bones and muscles, helps you think clearly. Without it, you’re not fully there.” – CM Harris source: http://www.oprah.com/health/Testosterone-Replacement-Therapy-for-Menopause
