Perspective on Testosterone Replacement Therapy

It is a balanced look at testosterone replacement therapy and even offers some interesting theories from field expert Dr. Gregory Bernstein on why Low T seems to be more prevalent than ever. Dr. Ronald Swerdloff, one of the authors of guidelines published by The Endocrine Society you can find here, admonishes judicious use of TRT.

There are undoubtedly people who are being treated that don’t meet the best guidelines. But there are many people who do meet the guidelines who aren’t being treated

The causes certainly warrant more study and an decisions on therapy should only be made from an informed position. When deciding if testosterone therapy is right for you, make sure that you weigh all the benefits and risks.
