(Almost) Free Exercise Classes and Workouts in DFW

In a recent article from the Dallas publication D Magazine, the author expresses some discomfort with the pump-you-up motivation typical of these cardio spin classes and group workout sessions (not to mention the fact that these classes, which he didn’t really enjoy, cost him a good bit of money to attend).

This is a good reminder that these trendy fitness shops might not suit everyone.

A blonde woman and light-haired man wearing exercise apparel are doing planks in the park, possibly as part of one of the many free exercise classes in the DFW area.

Some people around the DFW metropolitan area may really need the health benefits and pick-me-up endorphins that exercise provides, but may also be on a budget that doesn’t allow for substantial fees.

Or, their personalities just don’t align with high-intensity group classes.

So, what can you do to stay healthy without the expense and (in some cases) undesirable extras of these classes?

Here are some options that might better meet your needs.
