The Tribute Shoreline Nature Trail

This trail is probably the most scenic of them all, and it’s located on the shore of Lewisville Lake.

It has views of the lake, and it is surrounded by water. People like to visit this 4-mile trail for hiking, birdwatching, and mountain biking.

Dogs are welcome on, but they must be kept on a leash.

This amazing trail might be a bit long for most people, but it’s still relatively easy to tackle. It can get muddy when it rains, though, so don’t forget to bring some boots.

Surprisingly enough, the trail doesn’t get a lot of use, so people often say they it feels like they have the trail to themselves.

The Bittern Marsh Trail

With marshy waters and fronds floating on the surface, walking this trail feels like being transported to a fairyland.

While the DFW area has many trails to choose from, the Bittern Marsh Trail is visually unlike other nearby trails, providing a hiking experience unlike anything else in the area.

Although it’s only a short and easy 2.2 miles long, the terrain might be more difficult after rain. There are also some nice sights worth photographing.
